Once again, the e-Smart® Korea team traveled to Paris in November for the Cartes & Identification Exhibition 2009, to demonstrate the Company’s new generation “I AM”™ Smart Card technology. This year invitations were sent to prospective customers for individualized demonstrations of the Company’s advanced technologies. Users were issued their own “I AM” demo card and were provided the opportunity to see first-hand the new generation “I AM”™ Smart Card technology.

Earlier this year, e-Smart® Korea participated in the “Electronics & Components China Sourcing Fair” in April, where we introduced our “I AM”TM Smart Card technology. The “Electronics & Components China Sourcing Fair” is a major world-wide exhibition that was held in Hong Kong, where many new electronic products such as computer and networking products, GPS, security solutions and products, mobile phones, VoIP and WiFi, and digital entertainment applications are introduced to the public.

e-Smart® Korea participated in the exhibition with our partner company, Cobalt Ray Co., Ltd., where e-Smart® demonstrated our “I AM”™ Smart Card technology to prospective customers from all over Asia. The response we received from our demonstrations from of the Korea Aerospace University student ID card was gratifying and we were especially pleased to see great interest in the “I AM”™ Smart Card by many companies.

In September, e-Smart® Korea Inc. was issued the Standard Conformity Certificate by the Korea Internet & Security Agency for conforming to the BioAPI v2.0 International Standard. KISA’s BioAPI v2.0 Standard Conformance Certification certifies whether the product under review meets the international standard and whether its performance is reliable, and it enhances the reliability of the product and the companies’ competitive power by obtaining official recognition for objective performance measurement of biometric products.

e-Smart® Technologies Inc. announced that it has delivered limited quantities of its Contact and RF Contactless 'I AM' Super Smart Cards and card readers to companies in Seoul, South Korea who have purchased them to be used as Employee ID and Computer Access Cards and to be tested in Pilot Programs for performance and compatibility with their existing systems.
