Finger-print Sensor Embedded Card, The first commercialization in Busan


The Super Smart Card which makes it possible to prevent others’ access is going to be marketed in Busan, which is the world’s first shot. On 25th of July, Mybi Co, Ltd., e-Currency operating company presented plans to market ‘The Super Smart Card’ that eSmart Technlogies developed.

This card integrates the biometric card that e-Smart Technologies created and Mybi’s combi chips for AFC and Payment functionalities.

Song Boong Won, Mybi CEO, said, “if the fingerprint which is already stored in the Super Smart Card doesn’t match the fingerprint that a person puts on the card, anyone is not allowed to use it. And it will be applied to all kinds of security and payment systems that need user verification.”

Mybi attracted a total of 150 million dollars in foreign capitals and it is going to market the Super Smart Card in Busan late this year.

Next year, the project will be expanded to 10 cities that Mybi e-Currency has been already used, and be planning to advance into the worldwide market.

During the signing ceremony, governments and banks-related officials from seven countries such as China, Singapore, Indonesia, Turkey, and Kenya showed a great deal of interests.
