e-Smart® Technologies to Partner With World Developments Corporation

WASHINGTON, May 2, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ — e-Smart® Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets: ESMT); ("e-Smart®" or the "Company") and its parent company IVI Smart Technologies, Inc., is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement with World Developments Corporation (WDC) and has established Homeland Defense S.A. in Morocco and Algeria.

World Developments Corporation, WDC, has agreed to partner with IVI Smart and e-Smart® Technologies, Inc., to finance implementation of e-Smart®'s Biometric Verification Security System BVS2™ in the following countries: Mauritania, Mali, Equatorial Guinea, Angola, Mauritius, Camores Islands and South Africa. By years end, WDC with IVI/e-Smart® intends to establish Homeland Security subsidiaries in nearly all of the countries on the African continent.

WDC with IVI Smart and e-Smart® Technologies, Inc., will establish Homeland Defense subsidiaries in all of these countries, installing and implementing the Company's Biometric Verification Security System, (BVS2)™ and all related technologies to be utilized in a number of areas including, government contracts, banking and payment systems, courts, border security and all security related areas.
